We're still getting used to the sauna experience so not testing the limits of the sauna yet. Heats up quickly and definitely gets HOT enough to make you feel the benefits. Our unit was installed a few weeks before TC Alfred hit and while we didn't get the worst of the cyclone, it stayed intact through some pretty strong winds and heavy rain (with the cover - highly recommended). Looking forward to regular use and enjoying our pool even more to cool down afterwards.
Do yourself a favour and add installation as it's all heavy and experience counts putting the jigsaw together (thanks to Shaun and Zelko).

What power do I need?
A dedicated 20 A weatherproof power point (three-pin flat pin), installed by a licensed electrician before delivery so the sauna can be tested when it's set up. No hardwiring. The heaters use 3,840 W at full power with the two front heaters supplied, or 4,840 W with the optional upgrade to four. Always confirm with your electrician before any work starts.
How hot does it get?
Up to about 75°C. How hot it gets depends on the weather and where it sits. Infrared warms you directly rather than just the air, so it feels deep without being harsh. Switch it on from the app before you head out so it's ready.
Why two front heaters?
The La Mar 4 comes with two full-spectrum heaters on the front glass. In our testing, two is all it takes to heat the sauna quickly to its maximum temperature, so that's what we supply. Want more near-infrared at the front? You can upgrade to an extra two. Call us on 1300 011 230 and we'll add them to your order.
How long is a session?
Up to 45 minutes. Infrared heat is gentler than a traditional sauna, so sessions run longer. Drink water before and after, and step out if you feel uncomfortable.
Is the EMF low?
Yes. The wall heaters are low-EMF mica panels, measured below 1 mG.
What should it sit on?
A hard, level base such as concrete, decking or large pavers. It must be well drained and never sit in water.
Can it go indoors?
Yes. It works indoors or outdoors, and doesn't need any extra ventilation.
Do I need council approval?
No. Council approval isn't required.
What is the red light panel?
An optional red light therapy panel you can add to your order and use during your session. Call us and we'll talk you through which setup suits your sauna.
What does the $750 installation include?
Our team assembles and installs the sauna, at the same price anywhere in Australia. Electrical work isn't included: a licensed electrician installs the 20 A power point before delivery. Installation is optional; you can do it yourself with a few helpers using the manual.
When will it arrive, and is delivery free?
Delivery is free anywhere in Australia, metro or regional. Our installers bring it, or our freight partner delivers it and unloads the cartons from the truck. Your deposit secures the earliest available unit; the shipments panel at the top of the page shows what's in stock and what's arriving. We keep you updated on progress and let you know before it's on its way.
Is the deposit refundable?
Yes. If you cancel before your sauna is dispatched, we refund your deposit in full. The balance is due before it leaves our warehouse.
How does the 100-day guarantee work?

How do I keep it looking new?
Wipe the bench with a damp cloth after each session. A light sand brings the timber back to new. Microfibre for the aluminium and glass.
